SHANK? No worries, easy fix!

There is only one reason to Shank the ball (Hit the ball on the shank, or shaft/open face):
You rolled the club face open with your hands (on the backswing), and you did not get it back to square by impact!

Easy fix!… keep your hands out of the golf swing and let Large Muscles do the work. Or, keep the club face square the entire swing. Watch

  1. I’ve tried everything to fix the shanks. I’m almost ready to quit. I’ll try this.

  2. I will try at range, every now and then , shanks come back into my game and take all summer to get rid of!

    1. Great. Please keep me in mind if that happens and we’ll look at your swing and find the cause. It is usually just hands opening the face or the arms and club getting stuck behind you. Here is another video that will help this problem called “The Ross Move”
