Dear Sir, With pitch shots i focus primarily on the left arm in line with the left arm with firm grip pressure to prevent any change in the wrist shape throughout the swing but i also focus on the right arm being and staying straight through impact and after impact when both arms are STRAIGHT fully extended up to 3″0 clock. I get good results @ ball striking, flight, and distance control with this. But occasionally I CHICKEN WING or DUFF the shots with my pitching. What may be responsible for this accidents?. My principle or routine if you like is “form shape, hold shape back with shoulder turn and body rotation through impact to finish STRAIGHT. “Shape “is impact wrist shape. I focus more on NOT ALLOWING HINGING AND FLOPPING since the left wrist is bowed slightly. When I watched your video on pitching 50yds in i saw you were like HITTING the divot and your wrists kind of hinged a little ,,, please help in these areas.

Thanks so much my teacher and mentor. I have discovered since I entered your virtual Academy that you are a great teacher and you have demystified the game of golf and you want to share it with mankind @ those interested. I have improved tremendously to the envy of my club mates. And I am serious. I dont mis the fairway and my short game is good. I was playing off hc 12 when I met you , now I play off 6. ???????? The issue is that that wrist want to flip. And flipping is the reason for so many issues in the golf swing including difficulty with full ROTATION It is in struggle to prevent FLIPPING that I discovered this idea and it allowing for easy, smoother and fuller ROTATION and of course straighter shots. When I combine this thought with the video on ‘ square club face ‘ I so much enjoyed my ball striking. Thanks so much sir.

Longest time and compliments of the season to the house.
About holding the club in the downswing without flipping. Do I keep the clubface on the target line straight through in the downswing facing the sky after impact through to finish? Because this is the only way I have been able to keep the wrists shape at impact and through to finish. Please clarify this area. Thanks.

This is a mentality that takes a long time to change to conviction. I advise you continue to play and practice to keep the WRISTS intact from setup to impact and through. It is working for me. Your peers and pros will continue to challenge this. Please resist and keep the left wrist bowed and avoid flip or flop. I write out of experience. It works perfectly for ball striking.
