    Hi Ross,

When you mention place the ball in front of the hip socket, for me it is one to two balls left of my left heel (which is flared left)? Is that about right?

I want to make sure I understand what you’re saying, so I will describe my thoughts on the front hip socket. First of all the, front hip socket can move. It can be inside your front leg, on top of your front leg, or outside of your front leg depending on how you’ve shifted your weight. When I describe the front hip socket, I’m talking about it being in front of your body, not off to the outside of your front leg. If you set up athletically using the duplessisgolf athletic set up, you’ll have about 60% of your weight on the front leg. That means there’s still 40% of your weight on the back leg. If you’re set up like this, I imagine the front hip socket inside the front foot roughly 2 ball widths. Is this what you’re describing? It sounds like you’ve got your hip further forward than your foot.

    Ross
