Got a couple questions.1) how do you know when your Iron shafts are too soft or too firm?
2) Why do wedge shafts only have “Wedge Flex”?

I usually don’t talk about equipment, but in general, the stiffer the shaft, the more control you will have, but you might not hit the ball as far (usually a small difference).Wedge shafts are so short they don’t flex much (or very little).

That’s something a good club fitter specializes in. If you choose to get a fitting, a fitter will look at your swing characteristics and match you with a shaft that they determine best suits you. It might help you hit the ball higher, lower, more consistently, and further.Ed_Blackburn1 Oct 10, 2016
Thought I would chime in here. I have been using the Ross method for around two years and my HC has dropped from 24 to 15 1/2 . I recently got fitted for custom clubs since I now have a repeatable swing. They measured me, put me on a monitor and a lie board. My new clubs are really awesome but I think would have been pointless without the reliable repeatable swing. The club fitter even commented how easy it was to help me because the swings were so similar he could really see the differences the equipment made on the monitor. They helped improve my accuracy but no where near as dramatically as working on the Ross method has done. If you feel like the swing is there then the fitting can help as well IMO. As always thanks to Ross.
